An Introduction | The HireLabs Condensed Competencies Model
An increasing amount of emphasis on improving leadership competencies is focused on the assessment of quality coaches and learner outcomes. The quality of learner outcomes, therefore, require peers with deep insight into developing the very competencies they expect to instill in their leaders.
The U.S. Department of Education Division of Adult Education & Literacy sponsored a research project conducted by PRO-NET 2000 that identified certain management competencies that reflect the following 7 broad categories –
Leadership Skills
Instructional Leadership
Resource Management and Allocation
Staff Supervision
Program Monitoring and Reporting
Professional Development Practices
Community Collaboration
Over the next week, I will be taking you through what we here at HireLabs call a Condensed Competencies Model that will aim to include each of those 7 broad categories. The condensed model forms the basis for the HireLabs Management & Leadership Profile Instrument used in managerial and leadership assessments.
