Emiratisation – Matching a candidate’s skills and interests with jobs
Arabic Assessments has been created to help policy makers in their workforce nationalization efforts.
We recently launched a study to understand why the workforce dropout rates in UAE and Saudi were high, and we noticed that a common response by the youth alluded to their interest in the job. Now policy makers can assess their youth and identify their interests and skill, which can then be matched with available jobs in the market. Such a strategy will prove beneficial in addressing the workforce dropout rate.
The following illustration shows the relationship between a worker’s interest level and how long the worker will stay in a job before he/she hits the dropout point
Arabic Assessment will help policy makers in both the public and the private sectors assess a candidate’s interest and skill level before hand. If the interest and skill level is high, then we will be avoiding premature dropouts
